About Me

I am currently a professor at Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering.

I received the B.A. degree in Economics and the M.S. degree in Engineering-Economic Systems and Operations Research from Stanford University in 2001, and the M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering: Systems, the M.S. degree in Applied Mathematics, and the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering: Systems from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, in 2006, 2009, and 2010, respectively. My Ph.D. advisor was Prof. Mingyan Liu.

From May 2010 to December 2013, I was a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Electrical Engineering, Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, Lausanne, Switzerland, where I was a member of the Signal Processing Laboratories LTS2, led by Prof. Pierre Vandergheynst, and LTS4, led by Prof. Pascal Frossard.

From January 2014 to August 2022, I was an assistant professor and then a tenured associate professor in the Department of Mathematics, Statistics, and Computer Science at Macalester College.
